Day 9 - Put your iPod on shuffle, first 10 songs & Day 10 - Something you're afraid of

Alright, so I understand that I'm a slacker. I have an excuse though! School is finishing up and there are stresses that come along with that, like big projects that need to be turned in. Due to those big mother projects, I have not had time to Blog, but I have a bit of time right now, so I'm back :)

1st 10 Songs:

1. Play Something Country - Brooks & Dunn
2. Summertime - Kenny Chesney
3. Where'd You Go - Fort Minor
4. Dreaming With A Broken Heart - John Mayer
5. Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
6 .Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses
7. Pump It - Black Eyed Peas
8. You Belong With Me - Taylor Swift
9. Buy U A Drank - T-Pain
10. Give A Little Bit - SuperTramp

As you can tell, I like all kinds of music!! :) hahaha

Something I'm Afraid Of:

I'm kind of terrified of big dogs. I saw someone kind of getting attacked one time and ever since then, dogs are NOT my best friends.

I'm scared of deep water and no lifejacket. I could be boating all day in a lake going tubing, wake boarding, whatever..but the second that life jacket gets taken off, I panic.

For some reason I get scared that I'm not going to be able to have my own children. I have no idea if this will be the case or not, since I am on B.C. right now, but I want to be able to experience that whole birth scene.

Nothing freaks me out more than gators. I've talked about it with my husband before and he told me that there are gators EVERYWHERE in Florida, and that when people go wake boarding in some bodies of water down there, they better hope the boat comes around fast enough if they fall, or they may get freaking eaten alive. I have no idea why anybody would go do that..but that's just me. I live nowhere near gators, yet they scare the heck outta me! I actually start panicking just thinking about them, so I'm done writing about this. :) haha

That's pretty much all I am afraid of!

Day 8 - A place you've traveled to

I have been to quite a few small places. I've been to many states around the U.S. and I've been to a few different provinces in Canada. My favorite places I've been to are Mazatlan Mexico and Laie Hawaii. My family owns a condo in Mexico, so we usually go there most often. A beautiful free place to stay. You can't beat that, ever!!

Here is a picture of their place:

I just got back from that glorious building in March and I'm missing it like crazy. I love the sun. Thank goodness I am going to Hawaii in like 3 weeks or something! Wooo.

Day 7 - Favorite movies

Alright, so I have to be honest and say that I am not a HUGE movie freak. I am serious when I say I don't feel like I have seen too many movies in my life because I just fall asleep when they are on!! If I'm not being active and physically doing something to keep my attention than it is hard for me to stay awake. I'm so bad that I fall asleep in movie theaters as well. I know, I know..how lamme. Anyways, from what I HAVE seen, these are my favorites:

I LOVE how to lose a guy in 10 days. It's probably one of my all time favs. I think it's hilarious how they are both playing each other the whole time. It's just an all around GREAT show!

I also love The Notebook. I have to admit that I cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch it, but it's such a cute movie! I also think Rachel McAdams is gorgeous and such a good actress!

I am a BIG fan of Iron Man! I honestly thought it was going to be one of the dumbest shows ever because I wasn't sure how I felt about technology/super hero type movies..but it was absolutely awesome! It is definitely one of my favorite shows..which surprised me!

The last movie I am going to include on this list is Zoolander. It is probably the dumbest show I have ever seen and that is why I love it so much. Apparently I have a dumb sense of humor too, to be able to enjoy this movie so much! Ben Stiller is the man :)

Of course I am also a little kid and appreciate cartoons. I love Happy Feet, The Incredibles, All of the Disney Princess movies, Finding Nemo, Madigascar 1 and 2 and many more!

Day 6 - A song that makes you cry

Alright, so there are many things that make me cry. I never really used to show too much emotion but ever since I have got married the flood gates seem to be a lot more open than usual when it comes to certain topics.

A song that has always made me cry is called "His Hands." This song just testifies to me how my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ loves me so much. I just cannot imagine going through what he did. I am so thankful for his atoning sacrifice, that my mistakes can be forgiven of due to his selflessness. Here is the song:

Another song that makes me cry is "You're Gonna Miss This" By Trace Adkins. It gets me thinking of my life and how sometimes I tend to wish it away, in a sense. I am always looking forward to the future and wanting to move on with my life. I think I just need to breathe, take a few steps back, and be thankful and enjoy every step that I take in life.

Day 5 - Pictures of things that make ME happy

I'm a slacker. I know. But I am still blogging!!
Anyway, I am on Day 5 now and I am really excited about this day. I love looking back at pictures, especially ones that bring a smile to my face. Here are the pictures that make ME happy:

This is Natey and I the night that we got engaged in Hawaii. This night obviously makes me happy because it was the night that started the rest of my forever.

This picture makes me happy because it is the first time that I got to meet my beautiful niece, who is now over 2 years old! I also love this pic because all of the girls in the fam are together!

I don't know why this picture makes me laugh, because it shouldn't. Nothing like getting crapped on by the Little Miss Brookey herself. Haha :) Love ya B.

This picture makes me happy because we are clearly happy in this picture! I don't remember what we were doing other than shootin' the tube and having a GREAT time!

I get REALLY happy when my cute husband leaves me billions of sticky notes around the house telling me how great I am. He really knows when I need to hear things like that and he always knows how to brighten up my day. <3

This picture that I made makes me almost pee my pants. Is that Austin Powers, or is it my Dad?? :) hahaha.

I love my dad and the huge loser that he is :) Here is a picture of him giving Ronald McDonald a wet willy..and this picture makes me happy :) haha

This picture makes me laugh really hard because of the shorts Nate was trying on. It also makes me laugh because this picture was taken almost a year ago and just the other day Nate told me that the biggest regret of his life was not buying them! Haha.

This cheesy girl makes me happy..hahaha

Chocolate Explosions from Boston Pizza can always brighten up my day.

This picture makes me seriously laugh so hard I cry. Dupe told Jonzie not to buy an expensive jug thing for the condo in Mexico. Dupe then went to the bank leaving Lorda, Jonzie and I at this store by ourselves. As you can see through the window, the dude is carrying the big jug down due to Jonzie's purchase after Dupe left. Hahaha. Underneath is Jonzies reaction to her SWEET NEW DECORATIONNNN. If only I could zoom in and show you just her face. What a loser. hahahahha

This picture also makes me happy. I was just minding my own business floatin' the lazy river when all of a sudden my mother came up behind me and flipped me off. Hahha. Can you see her laughing in the background?? :P

This day was one of my favorites. I had so much fun jumping into that huge leaf pile under me! Thinking of this day makes me happy!!

This is the last picture that I will be putting up here today. This picture makes me happy because I am with the man I love. He is such a great guy and I am so lucky to have him for myself! I love you babe!

I am a happy person. I love to laugh and have a great time with the people I love.

Day 4 - Something you're looking forward to

So, there are a few things that I am looking forward to right now.

# 1 - Getting my house re-sided. Someone decided to graffiti my house a while back and so the insurance is going to give us the money to re-side our house. All we have to do is pay a $500 deductible! Hopefully the weather starts to warm up so that we can get on it! I just can't wait to take away that ugly powder blue color and put up a nice brown. Oh the joys of the simple things in life.

# 2 - Nate and I are going to Hawaii with his side of the family when this semester ends. I CAN'T WAIT! For all of you who know me really well, you know that I love the sun! It will be a nice trip to celebrate the end of the semester. Unfortunately I have a summer semester waiting at home for me when I arrive. What a lucky girl I am. :)

# 3 - The last thing I am looking forward to is that life change that I have been longing for. In a year from the end of this semester, Nate and I will be graduating. We can't wait to start the next chapter in our lives, together. I am just looking forward to not being in school and starting a family. Also the full-time job pay sounds a little nice as well :) I know that I will miss these days of my life and everyone involved in them, so I am still enjoying my life as I take it day by day. I love the people who I associate with on a day to day basis, so I guess it makes it easier to enjoy school a little bit. Ha

Those are just a few things of many that I am looking forward too! Life is great. Enjoy it. :)

Day 3 - Your siblings and parents

So, this is probably the best subject for me. I am a HUGE family person. I love being with my family because we are the best of friends and we always laugh when we are together.

To start things off, I am going to talk about my parents.
Here is a beautiful picture of my Mom and Dad:
These two mean everything to me. They truly are the best parents that anyone could ever ask for. They are supportive of any righteous decisions that Nate and I decide to make. They let Nate and I live our lives. They know along the way that we might make a few mistakes, but this life is all about learning. They always have great advice to give, but I love the fact that they refrain from giving us the advice unless we ask for it. They are extremely loving. I just love to be around my parents because we always have such an amazing time when we're together. My mom is extremely selfless. Growing up my Mom always made sure that Kendra (my sister) and I had everything we needed and wanted before she met her own needs and wants. She was the peacemaker in the home. I really don't remember my mom ever raising her voice at us kids. She always seemed so calm to me and I love that about her. She is still this way today! She knows how to go with the flow. My mom is such an inspiration to me. I hope that one day I can be as good of a mom as she is. She is easy to talk to about anything and is always willing to help me out in times of need. She has such a great sense of humor as well. She's always laughing and making others around her enjoy their life. My dad is a great man as well. I remember going on basketball trips with him and just having so much fun. He is a crack-up and that's what I love about him! You can't take this man seriously unless a certain facial expression is present..when you see that certain face you know it's time to stop whatever you're doing. There is this one memory I have of him dancing to Usher's "Yeah" in our hotel room on one of my tourny's in Seattle. Nothing like walking out of the bathroom and seeing your white dad try to dance like a black man. :) He just has such a great sense of humor and I hope that when I grow up I can continue on his path. He is so much fun to play games with as well! He is the man I get to thank for being so competitive! At an early age I learnt that you play to win, and that was that. He taught me his strategy to every single game and still to this day we LOVE to game together. My parents are pretty much my best friends and I would never have it any other way. I love you guys!

Now it's time for my sister, brother-in-law, and little niece Brookey. Here is a beautiful picture of their cute little family, which is about to expand:
I love my sister and her family! They are so cute and so much fun to be around. My sister and I have been one of each other's best friends for as long as I can remember. She is a beautiful person on the inside and out. We can make each other laugh like it's nobody else's business. I remember the good old days when she used to pull my hair (that was her only defense), but luckily we grew out of that early on. I could not ask for a better sister. She is always concerned about how I am doing and she makes me feel so loved. I love being involved in her life. When we get together we love to game, bake, and just laugh. It's fun to try new recipes when we are together! It's easier to be creative with someone else than by yourself, so that's what I love about her! Even though we don't live close, we still find that special time to skype with each other to see what's going on in each other's world. I love skype. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't see my family all of the time through that wonderful technology! Anyways, we have the BEST times when we are together and I love when Nate and I get to visit them. Kale, her husband, is a heck of a lot of fun himself. He always wants to be on the go because he likes having fun and keeping busy. It makes for fun experiences because we are always trying something new! Thanks for spicing up our lives Kale :) Now to talk about my favorite little girl in the whole wide world. (I'm about to have 2 favorites because another baby girl is being born this April, so I can't wait to keep being the best Auntie alive!) Anyways, I love my little miss B. She is the CUTEST girl I have ever seen. She has such an attitude that Auntie loves because this auntie doesn't have to deal with it. Mommy does. She is just over 2 years old and she is such a hoot! She talks amazingly well, and it is just so fun to be able to communicate with something so small and precious. I love playing games with her when we get to visit and I just love making her laugh and smile. She means the world to me. I can never get enough of my cute little princess!

Well, there is is for my amazing parents and siblings. I love you guys and always remember that you mean the world to me. Love, Kels <3

Day 2 - Something that stresses you out

I obviously get stressed out when there is a lot of things that I NEED to be doing at one time. When there are multiple things that need to get done and I have a small window of time to do things, I tend to get super stressed. Sometimes I may be able to prevent it due to better time management, but sometimes things just all pile up at once, and it is totally out of my control! On top of all this busy work stuff that needs to get done, sometimes my house tends to mirror the stress level in my life. I usually like to keep things neat and organized, but sometimes I don't have the time or the energy to do that, especially when other things are keeping me going like a crazy lady. I CAN'T handle a messy house! It drives me bonkers. Even if I have tons to do, I can't focus on any of it if I am surrounded by mess. I just can't focus. I am stressin' right now just typing all of this stuff because the thought of it makes me go insane. :) haha. Thank goodness I have the BEST supportive husband of all time. He is amazing for me and is always willing to help me be the best me that I can. He would do anything for me and just knowing that makes me feel so Loved! He is always there to try and calm me down if I get stressed and I just love him for that. Thank you Natey! Here is a picture of my sweet husband that means the world to me:

Day 1 - Self portrait picture, and 15 interesting facts

I'm jumping right into this, so let me get started!!

Self-Portrait:

This is me. It was kind of hard for me to find a self portrait because I really don't like taking pictures by myself, but I found one!

15 Interesting Facts:

  • I can't wait for the day that I graduate from college. I love my life as it is, but I really can not wait to move on to my next stage. I only have just over a year until that happens, so I hope this next year kind of blows by!!

  • You may be wondering what I picture in my "next stage of life." This includes starting a family. I want to be a mother so bad. I love children and simply enjoy having fun playing with them. I want 3-4 kids total. No more, no less. I at least want one of my very own baby girls. I love girls and I love the closeness that my mama and I share. I want that for me. I want a daughter who I can spoil and love, who I can talk to about anything, and who can tell me what not to wear if my fashion ever goes downhill. I also want boys! Boys are so much fun and I want to rough around with them. I am a P.E. major and have always been involved in sports, so I can't wait to be the supportive mom cheering in the stands, watching her kids have fun being active. I seriously cannot wait for the day that I get to hold my very first baby in my arms! As you can probably tell, I am very passionate about this. I could go on forever, but I feel like you get the point. :)

  • A lot of people already know this about me, but I am going to share with you anyway. It is my DREAM to hold onto a dolphins fin and get carried away as it starts swimming through the water. I also want to have 2 dolphins under me, where I stand on their nose things and get lifted up as if I'm water skiing. I don't know what it is about this whole activity, but it just seems amazing to me! One of these days, I'm going to do it! Look how much fun that lady is having :) Haha.

  • I am a HUGE family person. I love the times that I get to share with my family. I live 12 hours away from them, so I don't get to see them all of the time, but we make an effort to usually see each other once every 3-4 months. Sometimes it makes me sad to miss out on the big events that happen. My sister is having a baby in April and I am not going to be able to go up to Canada to meet my new niece. The first time that I will get to hold that new baby girl is when she will be about 3-4 months old. Thank goodness for skype!! What would I do without it? I Love everyone in my family so much! Thanks for being so freakin' awesome!

  • I absolutely love to scrapbook! When I am finished with school and buy a bigger house, I will definitely have my very own craft room. I made a scrapbook for Nate a while back, and I keep slowly adding to it. When I have more time I will get on top of all of my scrap-booking so that right when we get done with something worth remembering I will get some pictures printed and get my creativeness on. :)

  • I love being active! I am not one to sit and watch a movie because I just get tired, bored, and eventually fall asleep. I have been known to fall asleep in movie theaters :) hahaha. How embarrassing! Anyways, I have recently started playing some racquetball with my number one man and it has been so much fun! He is a lot better than me because he has played it longer. I recently just took a class on it though and learnt a bunch of different ways to serve. Let's just say sometimes Nate cannot return my new sneaky serves, and I like it :) I just love being on my feet and doing something fun and lively!

  • I HATE soggy foods. I can not handle a huge amount of milk in my cereal, because it gets too soggy before I can eat the whole bowl. Just a little bit of milk is perfect for me. I like it when you can just barely see milk in the bottom of the bowl :) I also cannot handle cookies dipped in milk because they also get soggy nasty. A few other things that I hate due to being soggy is: poached eggs with bread, not crispy enough waffles (the syrup really soaks in and turns the whole breakfast to sog) and that is all I can think of at the moment, but I know there is more!

  • When Nate took me on my first date, I knew that we would have fun together for the rest of our lives. I was so used to the usual dinner and a movie, and then my Natey came along and totally spiced things up. Our first date consisted of riding horses down at his Aunt and Uncles house in Fairview, UT. This was right up my alley. I loved every second of it! I have to admit, there was one point where Nate took off in front of me, leaving my horse to want to chase after his. We were going through what seemed to be a forest at the time with trees EVERYWHERE! I couldn't control my horse because Nate, the butt-head, was going way to fast for my beginning self! I got a big mother slash across my neck from a tree branch and Nate had no idea that that even happened until we got back because he didn't even turn around to check on me!! You would think that this whole experience would have been a deal breaker..but I seriously really did love the whole idea behind the date. Later that night Nate took me to go "shoot the tube" for our second part of the date. You climb up one of those big underground tube things that water flows through in the city, and you put a peace of plywood at the top of the hole to block the water from coming through. Then you sit there in a line with your feet wrapped around the person in front of you until the pressure buildup from the water is so strong that it breaks the board in half. The huge amount of water comes splashing down and carries you away down to the bottom of the tube. You have to remember, we do this at night, so it's PITCH BLACK and you can't see ANYTHING!! All you hear is everyone yelling because you do not know what is happening in that big tube. It's a great time and I loved every second of it!! Natey captured my attention that very night, so it's a good thing that he is so creative because it made me stick around :) This picture is of us waiting to climb up the tube. The part of the tube you see in this picture is where you come flying out at the bottom!!

  • I love to travel. Going to new places is very intriguing to me. I love the excitement of seeing new cultures and how other people live their lives. Although I don't eat anything
that looks or smells nasty, I do like to try different cultures food. Some of it I hate, some of it I love. Some of it looks amazing and tastes terrible. It's just all part of the experience that come withtraveling! I am a big fan of the Bachelor or Bachelorette shows. Ever since they went to Tahiti, I have been dying to go! I have always wanted to stay in a bungalow that is over the water. I think it would just be such a fun, romantic, isolated vacation! When Nate and I are graduated, I plan to go to this very picture..

  • I like bananas that have little brown spots on them. If the banana is still green, and you hear the peel snap when you open it, that's a little bit of a problem for me. I don't like them solid brown, because that's just nasty, but I need a tiny bit of brown to be present. Nothing like a ripe banana!!

  • I love to bake. I love to try new recipes. I am constantly searching up different meals and desserts to try next. One of my favorite types of books are cookbooks with pictures. I don't care for the type that don't show me what I'm trying to make..those cookbooks suck :) Nate loves this side of me because he never eats the same meal all of the time. I also think he enjoys this side of me because I let him be open and honest with everything that I make. If he doesn't like it heis allowed to voice his opinion, and if he doesn't he will eventually have to eat it again! haha. Here are one of the things I have made recently that Nate absolutely loved. They are Strawberry filled chocolate cupcakes, and he craves them all of the time now. I love pleasing my husband by small and simple things! :)

  • Penguins are my absolute favorite animal. I think they are the CUTEST things ever and if they weren't such vicious little creatures, I would definitely travel somewhere cold and get my picture with one.

  • I LOVE getting massages. It feels so good because I always have so much pressure built up back there. Whenever I get a massage, it has to be deep tissue. A lot of people complain that this hurts but I can't have them any other way. If I am getting a normal massage, with no pressure, it is more annoying to me than anything because I am just constantly thinking how good it could be if I actually had some pressure being applied.

  • I just recently got back from Mexico and had a great time with my mom, dad, aunt, uncle, and cousin Flamey. :) One of my all time favorite moments was when I told Lorda to floor the car as we came to the bottom of this hill, because we get mad air off of it when we are going super fast. It was hilarious to see everyone and everything in the car get launched up and placed back down all at the same time. The next time that we were coming up to that hill, my cousin Jamer and I looked at each other and said "Launchy?" We both started laughing as Lorda revved up the machine again. This time she was going Crazy fast, and there were people in the car who didn't experience the first launchy, like my uncle Jay for instance. he had no idea what to expect and he got flown so high that his head hit the roof and he had no idea what just happened. Again, it was another great time of everyone almost peeing their pants. I love my family!

  • I am extremely proud of my husband in everything that he does. He is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. He always manages to get stuff done, plus still has time for me. He is such a smart guy. He got into the masters accounting program at BYU and it is super competitive. It is like one of the top 3 accounting schools in the nation, so of course it would be competitive. He has a great job that he works at, which pays him well. He is always busy with homework and work, but yet I never hear him complain. Even when he has his own stuff to do, he will put it off to help me if I am super stressed over anything. He is such an amazing man and I am so lucky to have him. I love you Sweetie!

Well that takes care of my first day back in the blogging world! I hope everyone enjoys, even though I just realized how long-winded of a person I can be. :)
